Ralph B. Hale
Senior Pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church
Pastor Ralph B. Hale is the youngest child of the late Mr. Jessie and Lorene Hale of Birmingham, Alabama. He is a devoted husband to his wife Jill Hale, the leader of St. Paul’s Women’s ministry and Scholarship ministry.
Pastor Hale has served faithfully in the Christian Ministry for over 20 years during which he has developed a heart for all God’s people. The Word of God in Jeremiah 3:15 reads, “And I will give you pastors according to my own heart which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding”.
Pastor Hale began his ministry at the Second Baptist Church of Bristol, Pennsylvania where he humbly accepted God’s call to the ministry and licensed to preach the Gospel under the leadership Rev. Dr. Herbert C. Wallace in April of 1998.
In February of 2010 Pastor Hale and his wife Jill became members of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In June of 2012 he became part of the ministerial staff as an associate minister under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Alyn E. Waller, Sr. Pastor. He served as a certified counselor with the Balm of Gilead counseling ministry, congregational care giving, member of S.W.A.T. evangelism ministry, provided leadership to Exploring Your Call/ Ministers in Training ministry, Instructor for the Life in the Spirit discipleship course, and Servant Leader for RESET men’s accountability group. He was also a member of the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter 2011-2015.
In addition to many preaching opportunities, Pastor Hale was a guest Preacher for “A Soulful Christmas Celebration Honoring Tramaine Hawkins” at the Kimmel Center, Philadelphia Pennsylvania in December 2017.
In 2013, while employed with Kooltronic Inc., NJ, Pastor Hale developed a relationship with several male co-workers. Within a years-time he established a Men’s group that continues to meet twice a month to discuss and learn how to address real life issues based on Biblical principles.
Pastor Hale earned a Master of Arts in Religion from Cairn University Langhorne, Pennsylvania. He became a certified Biblical Counselor through the Christian Research in Development Training Institute Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In September of 2019, Pastor Hale answered the call of the St. Paul Baptist church to become the interim Pastor. He was ordained in November of 2019 by Rev. Dr. Alyn E. Waller Sr. Pastor of the Enon Tabernacle Baptist church. In June of 2020, Pastor Hale was called to be the Senior Pastor.
Pastor Hale’s personal mission is to preach and teach the unadulterated Gospel of Jesus Christ, leading people into a personal relationship Him as their Lord and Savior. “For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel! I Corinthians 9:16.

Jill is a strong advocate for students, parents, and teachers. She uses her strong administrative and organizational skills to organize and facilitate programs as well as workshops on a variety of topics and subjects.
Jill following her passion for helping children, mentored children at risk through the Mercer County Youth Advocacy Program for more than 10 years. Jill is so passionate about working with children, rather than taking Summers off, she would lead Summer Enrichment Programs or serve as Camp Director for a variety of camps.
Jill genuinely believes in her philosophy of education that “All children are unique and deserve to have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.” It is always her desire to provide this type of atmosphere so that children can meet their full potential in school, camp, and church.
Jill is the loving and supportive wife of Pastor Ralph B. Hale Senior Pastor of the St. Paul Baptist Church in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She whole heartily supports him in his passion and the vision God has given him for our Church family. She is a down to earth jovial and faithful woman of God. She provides leadership to the Women’s Ministry, Next Generation Ministry, and Daughters of Imani Rites of Passage program.
